The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Talladega 250 race will begin on 30 September 2023 and will play at the Talladega Superspeedway. The first race the John Deere 250 was held in 2006 and won by Mark Martin. The most recent winner of this race was Spencer Boyd.

Chevrolet and Talladega Superspeedway officials declared today the NASCAR Truck Series elimination race round one. This weekend NGOTS playoffs will take place at Talladega Superspeedway the race name is Chevy Silverado 250 at Talladega.

Last year, NASCAR doubleheader racing happened at Talladega, the Chevrolet Silverado 250 at Talladega which was started on 1 October 2023, and NASCAR Xfinity Series Sparks 300 at Talladega. The NASCAR Gander Trucks championship field includes 10 eligible drivers; it will decrease from 10-8 at the checkered flag.

Steve Majoros, vice president of marketing for Chevrolet Trucks, said: There is no better time than Chevrolet Trucks Month to bring the Chevrolet Silverado 250 to the famous Talladega Superspeedway. Silverado will not only participate in the competition but will also accelerate the pace of the competition. This is a great way to showcase the most powerful and advanced Silverado ever.

The NASCAR Truck Chevy Silverado will lead the field to green at 01:00 pm ET. The NASCAR Truck Chevy Silverado 250 has won three out of the four drivers including Grant Enfinger (2016), Timothy Peters (2018), and Spencer Boyd. In the NASCAR Cup Series, Chevrolet is the overall winner of the Talladega Superspeedway with total wins 41.

Chevrolet Silverado 250 at Talladega is the last race of the 10th round of the Gander Trucks playoffs. Of the top five drivers four in the championship standings pilot Chevrolet. They consist of; first place Sheldon Creed, 2nd place Brett Moffett, 3rd place Zane Smith and 5th place Taylor Ankrum.
