NASCAR declared the 2022 schedule for NASCAR Camping World Truck Series; it features exciting and important modifications for race fans. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series 2022 season starts with NextEra Energy 250 on 18 February 2022 at Daytona International Speedway and will conclude with the race Lucas Oil 150, which takes place at Phoenix Raceway on 4th November 2022.
The Camping World Truck Series will update its racing brand, and for the first time since 2011, it returns to the .686-mile Lucas Oil Speedway in Indianapolis. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series playoff opener race will commence on 29 July and it gives the first chance drivers to earn a spot in the Round of 16. The competition is part of a jam-packed weekend of racing in the city of Indianapolis, as NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Cup Series will take place at Indianapolis Speedway on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Moreover, in 2022, the Camping World Truck Series will visit two new road courses. For the first time since 1998, the series will return to Sonoma Raceway, joining the Cup Series for a weekend doubleheader which will commence on 11 June. Then, move to Knoxville Speedway on 18 June and Nashville Superspeedway on 24 June. The Camping World Truck Series will debut at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on July 9. The track has hosted the NASCAR Xfinity Series from 2013-21.
